I've been using eye shadow primer for years now, ever since I first
started using makeup. Ok maybe not that long but since I started using
foundation to fix those tiny little mistakes that your skin has, let's
face it girls no one's skin is perfect. I've got oily eyelids and to top
it off, I've got hooded eyes which hides most of my eye shadow (total
bummer). But I do my best to make my eyelids still look good with what
I've got.
Anyway, I was at CVS the other week & I was trying to get to $15 in makeup so I could get $5 off plus I needed to waste time before another place was open. I was using ELF eyeshadow primer however that only lasts for a good 6 or less hours. Now if you're working, that won't work if you're working an 8 hour job and have oily eyelids like I have. So I decided to pick up something to fix that. I got another primer that I love (I'll review that after this) from amazon.com in the meantime that's not as expensive as Too faced (even though I LOVE their products, not willing to spend a ton of money on my makeup unless I have to).
While at CVS, I noticed this product & wanted to try it out. It was about $7 so I figured hey might as well. What's the worst that could happen? It doesn't work and I bring it back to CVS right?! You can also buy this online at: http://www.milanicosmetics.com/p-158-eyeshadow-primer.aspx If you prefer but if you want it now I'd suggest checking out the drugstore near you or a place that sells Milani. I had never tried any of their products before, not that they're too expensive but I just never thought to try it. Next time CVS has a sale on their other products, I'm definitely going to pick some up! If their primer works really well, I can just imagine how great their other products are.
If you have oily lids like I do, I would totally recommend this product to anyone who's trying to save money and is on a budget! Great product and wonderful primer!
