I have been using ELF primer for a few years now, but the only
problem with this eye shadow is that it doesn't stay for a very long
time. After about maybe 6 hours of wear, this primer stops working.
Then your eyeshadow comes off and your liner smears down your face,
making you look like you've been crying when you haven't.
Sure its cheap and you buy it at the dollar tree store but I would not recommend it if you want to wear it to your work if you working more than 4 hours. I was using this at my work for awhile till I noticed in the mirror that my eyeshadow and liner were gone! Even my mascara didn't seem to stay very long on my eyes because the primer wasn't helping. They do have a primer for your mascara (its kind of expensive but its worth it if you work in a warm environment) but its not worth the price they want for it.
I've included a photo of the product to show you which one I'm talking about. ELF does have a mineral eyeshadow primer but I have yet to buy it. I haven't found it at Dollar Tree nor have I seen it at Target which sells a lot of ELF products. A huge note with ANY primer, make sure that you let it set for at least 20 to 30 seconds prior to putting any shadow or eyeliner.
I wouldn't recommed this product to anyone who's going to be going out for a long period of time like working for long hours, but if you've got plans to go out at night and you've taken off your shadow earlier with a makeup towel, I would recommend this for short periods of time. I have a few of these from Dollar Tree purchases but only use it when I know I'm not going to be out for a long period of time.
